Coffee
All coffees are sold as whole beans only.
We recommend grinding the necessary dose of coffee before each consumption to minimise the oxidising. That said, if you do not have a grinder or an espresso machine with automatic grinding, we recommend you get a grinder.
Returns and Refunds
We do not accept returns of coffee beans as this is a fresh, perishable product, and we package all of our coffee fresh to order. If the bag of coffee is an error on our part, we’ll replace it for the correct order.
You’re eligible to return products bought online (except coffee) within 7 calendar days of delivery.
For a full refund, the products must be intact, unopened and in original packaging. If the product has been used, we have the right to refuse your return. The customer is responsible for all expenses in connection with the return.
Original order shipping charges, if applicable, are not refundable.
We cannot offer a refund for delayed parcels as this is the customer’s risk, and we are not responsible for any delays that might arise while the package is in transit. If your shipment is delayed, please contact your local DPD/UPS.
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact us and provide your name, email, and order number along with any changes you might have.
If we have already processed or shipped your order it will no longer be possible to change your order. In this case please refer to our return policy.
Sumo Coffee Roasters reserves the right to cancel orders without subject to notice on account of typos, technical errors, changes in VAT and taxes, sold out items.

Coffee is roasted to order. Our roasting days are Monday and Wednesday. Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1–3 business days. Orders are dispatched on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Once shipped, delivery within Europe usually takes 2–7 business days, depending on the end location. Please note: these are average transit times and are indicative only.
We ship worldwide and use DPD for all shipments.

To calculate your shipping cost, simply add the desired products to your cart, proceed to checkout, and enter your address. The cart will automatically update with the correct shipping cost.
Due to possible delays with couriers or customs, we cannot guarantee delivery times, and Sumo Coffee Roasters has no control over delays once the order is dispatched.
*Sumo Coffee Roasters has no control over any customs duties that could be levied when the parcel reaches you and for which you will be liable.
Shipping rates cover shipping charges only. Please note that import duties and taxes are not included in your order amount at checkout, and are the customer's responsability.
Additional note for U.S. customers
As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. government has removed the $800 de minimis exemption. This means that all shipments entering the U.S. are now subject to duties, taxes, and brokerage/clearance fees, regardless of value. These charges are applied by U.S. Customs and your local courier (e.g., USPS, UPS, DHL) and are the customer’s responsibility. Sumo Coffee Roasters has no control over these fees.
