This coffee is all about florals and sweetness, with delicate rose and Turkish delight notes that make it feel almost dessert-like. Grown in the Huila region of Colombia, this coffee is a perfect example of how climate, altitude, and innovation come together to create something unique.

Huila is known for its high-altitude farms, volcanic soil, and diverse microclimates, all of which help produce some of Colombia’s most sought-after coffees. The region’s small-scale farmers, many of whom have been growing coffee for generations, take great pride in their craft—carefully tending to each harvest to bring out the best flavors in every bean.

This lot is made from Caturra, one of Colombia’s most well-known coffee varieties. It’s a compact, high-yielding plant that thrives in these elevations, producing bright, clean, and sweet cups.

Through Qima’s innovative approach to sourcing and processing, the beans undergo a meticulously controlled co-fermentation process at the fresh cherry stage, allowing them to develop a cup profile that wouldn’t naturally occur in a standard fermentation.

Qima Coffee, established in 2016, has built a reputation for pioneering advancements in coffee processing, genetic research, and sustainable sourcing. Originally focused on Yemen, Qima expanded into Colombia in 2020, to apply its sourcing model on a larger scale. Working directly with smallholder farmers, Qima is committed to equitable, high-quality coffee production, ensuring that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.

This coffee is a testament to that vision—a collaboration between tradition, modern processing techniques, and a shared passion for pushing coffee forward.

This is an omni roast, designed to work well for both filter and espresso brewing.
